The Karnataka’s Food and Civil Supplies Minister has launched the Anna Bhagya Scheme so that the citizens of Karnataka state will be able to redress or solve the issue of rice shortages with the help of this scheme. The applicants or residents living in Karnataka state will be able to purchase rice at subsidized rates. Each family member belonging to the BPL Community will be given 10 Kg of rice.

Objectives Of Anna Bhagya Scheme
The major objective of launching the Anna Bhagya Scheme is to provide food grain to the residents of Karnataka state so that the government will be able to redress the hunger and malnutrition levels in the state.
