Objectives of Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme
The major objective of launching the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme is to provide financial help and support to the family groups belonging to the categories such as SC, ST, EBC, BC, and Minority by which they will be able to carry out the expenses of their daughter marriage after getting the financial help and support given to them.
Another objective of launching the Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme is to award marriage incentives only to the girl’s communities belonging to the underprivileged or disadvantaged categories by which they will be able to carry out the expenses of their marriage without becoming a burden on their family members or parents because it is the parents who reimburse the expenses of their daughter marriage on the behalf of the daughter.
Beneficiary Category
It is only on the basis of the beneficiary category that the applicants or beneficiaries will be given selection. This scheme will be considered eligible for the residents or natives of Telangana state only for the girls’ communities going to get married in 2023. Girls must be belonging to the SC, ST, EBC, BC, and Minority communities.
Minimum Age Limit
It is also on the basis of the minimum age limit or group that the applicants will be given a selection for carrying out the marriage incentives. It is the age on the basis of which the bride is considered eligible for getting married. The applicant will need to make sure that her minimum age limit must be 18 years and can also be above this.
Annual Income Limit
The bride’s family annual income limit will also be taken into consideration at the time of making a selection or shortlisting the names of eligible beneficiaries because sole fulfillment of the beneficiary category will not be sufficient. The applicants will need to make sure that their parental annual income must be between Rs. 1,50,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/-.
