In late 2024, the UIDAI, or Unique Identification Authority of India, made a big announcement about the free data update of the Aadhaar card.

Note: Now the date has been extended to 14 June 2026.

Step 4: Upload the POI and POA Documents

  • Select and upload one PoI document (driving license, voter card, PAN, etc.)

  • Note: The file must be in PNG, JPEG, or PDF format and under 2MB in size.
