The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has launched the PM YASASVI Scheme so that students belonging to underprivileged communities will be able to carry out scholarship amounts after applying online for this scheme. PM YASASVI Scheme 

Scholarship amounts of Rs. 75,000/- to Rs. 1,25,000/- will be provided to the eligible beneficiaries of the PM YASASVI Scheme who have been considered eligible for getting scholarships. These scholarship amounts will be provided to them on an annual basis. The annual income limit of the student will be taken into consideration. 

Scholarship amounts in the form of financial help and support will be provided to the students coming from OBC, EBC, or DNT categories. For this, they will need to apply online for the PM YASASVI Scheme. The students will be able to receive the scholarship amounts on an annual basis.

Parental Annual Income Limit

The students will need to make sure that they have attained the annual income limit of Rs. 2,50,000/- and if it exceeds then they will get debarred from applying online.

30% Reservation For Girls 

There is some %age of reservation that will be kept for girl communities so that they will also be able to secure the same benefit of this scheme that has been availed of by the boy students belonging to different communities. The government has kept 30% reservation for girl communities.
