Another objective of launching the Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena is to help students coming from low-income family groups so that they will be able to undertake abroad or foreign studies after getting the scholarship amounts. This scholarship will be provided to the students belonging to the SC, ST, or Kapu Communities.

Beneficiary Category 

The benefit of this scheme will only be provided to that applicant who has attained or possessed the beneficiary category based on which the scholarship amounts will be disbursed among the students. The student must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh belonging to the communities of SC, ST, or Kapu wanting to undertake abroad studies.
