Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card

The State Government of Karnataka has launched the Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card so that women will be allowed to travel from one region to another (inter-state) with the help of this card offered to them. This card can only be used by them as from the name itself it has been cleared. But men will also be given participation to use the buses without paying any ticket charges. The government has also reserved 50% of seats for men. One can apply online before the last date.

No charges or ticket charges will be paid out by the women or females using buses because Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card has been launched which will assist the women to carry out traveling with the help of bus services. The women will not be liable for getting paid the ticket charges. Men will also be able to use the bus service as there are around 50% of seats have been reserved for them. The women will not allow to use AC buses free of cost. For using these buses, the passengers will be liable to pay the ticket charges.

Objectives Of Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card

The major objective of launching the Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card is to implement the next step of the election manifesto that was introduced by the Congress party when they appealed for contesting the elections in Karnataka. This step will provide the belief among the residents that the congress party is striving forward as per their promises which they have done at the time of their elections. This will also make women self-dependent.

Another objective of launching the Seva Sindhu Shakti Smart Card is to provide free of cost transportation facilities for women so that they will be able to travel from one place to another with the help of buses provided to them free of cost. The women will not have to keep any tension for getting paid the ticket charges. Only buses can be the most convenient way of travelling at the least prices that have been made available for women.

Beneficiary Category 

The beneficiaries will need to attain the beneficiary category for which this card has been launched so that the applicants will not get disqualified at the time of applying online for this card. This card can only be undertaken by the women of Karnataka who have ever applied for the Karnataka Uchita Prayana Scheme which was introduced by the Congress Party during contesting elections. 

Form Of Benefit 

The applicants who have applied for this card will be able to avail the benefits of this card being offered to them. It is only with the help of this card, the residents or females will be able to travel using the buses. If this card has been shown to the bus conductor then there will be a surety that he or she will not charge any ticket charges to the passenger. 

50% Reservation For Men

It doesn’t mean that if this scheme has been made for providing free-of-cost bus or transportation services to the females of Karnataka then only females will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. Some form of benefit will also be reserved for the men’s communities. There are around 50% of seats have been reserved for men and they will also be able to use the buses.
