Objectives of Bangla Awas Yojana List

The major objective of launching the Bangla Awas Yojana List is to prepare the list of all those applicants who have been shortlisted for getting the amount of incentive for constructing their new or pucca houses. The applicants will be able to get the amount of benefit soon transferred to their relevant bank account details.

Another objective of launching the Bangla Awas Yojana List is to provide the list of applicants shortlisted for this scheme so that they will not have to wait too long to know their application status. In plain areas, the Central Government will bear 60% of the unit assistance cost, while the State Governments will bear 40%.
In North Eastern and Himalayan states, the Central Government will cover 90% of the unit assistance cost, and the State Governments will cover the remaining 10%.
The Central Government will allocate 90% of the funds to the state government, with 4% for administrative expenses.
The state’s annual allocation will be approved by an empowered committee based on its annual action plan.
The central government will distribute the funds to the states in two installments.
Beneficiaries will receive financial assistance directly in their bank accounts.
