Now the applicants or candidates belonging to the EWS and Women communities will be able to purchase e-bikes or electric vehicles after getting an online registration offered under the Gujarat Two Wheeler Scheme. The scheme was launched with the aim to empower women and encourage them to become independent. Students of class 12th will also be given opportunities to purchase e-Bikes at subsidized rates.

Objectives Of Gujarat Two Wheeler Scheme
The major objective of launching the Gujarat Two Wheeler Scheme is to provide a subsidy on the purchase of e-bikes and Electric vehicles by which the applicants belonging to the underprivileged sections and women community will be able to purchase these vehicles without facing any kind of financial issue. There are around 10,000 applicants who will be able to carry out the selection for this scheme.
Another objective of launching the Gujarat Two Wheeler Scheme is to promote the use of two-wheelers among the financially backward sections of society so that they will also be able to use the transportation vehicle without the need to pay a large amount of money usually spent at the time of purchasing petrol bikes. This will put emphasis on the improvement of their living standards.
Beneficiary Category
The applicants will need to attain or possess the beneficiary category on the basis of which this scheme can be availed by the applicants. The benefit of this scheme can only be undertaken by the residents of Gujarat state wanting to purchase E-bikes and vehicles.
