The State Government of West Bengal has launched the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme so that the youths who are still unemployed will be able to get employment opportunities after getting financial assistance provided to them. Around 1 lakh of youths will be able to get the loan amounts provided to them.
A loan amount of Rs. 2 Lakh will be provided to the residents of West Bengal state who are going to apply online for the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme. Objectives Of Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme
The major objective of launching the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme is to generate self-employment opportunities among the students so that they will be able to create jobs or employment for themselves. An amount of Rs. 2 lakhs will be provided to each eligible beneficiary in the form of a loan which can be used by them for creating their own business.
Another objective of launching the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme is to award an amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- in the form of a loan so that the students or youths can borrow this loan amount after applying online for this scheme. For the successful implementation of this scheme, the government has also sanctioned the amount of the budget.
Beneficiary Category
The applicants or candidates who are going to apply online for this scheme will need to attain or secure the beneficiary category for which this scheme has been launched. This scheme can only be availed by those applicants who are residents or natives of West Bengal state who are still unemployed and are struggling a lot for getting job opportunities.
Age Limit
The applicants or candidates will also need to attain the age limit that has been fixed by the applicants. It is only on the basis of fulfillment of the age limit that the applicants will be able to get the registration as well as selection. The applicants will need to attain the age limit of 18 to 50.

It doesn’t mean that if the government is allocating a loan amount of big digits that there will not be a budget amount that will be allotted by the government for the successful implementation of this scheme. The government of West Bengal has also sanctioned an amount of Rs. 500 Crores for its successful working so that each youth or applicant will get a loan provided to them.
Minimum Education Qualification
There will also be a minimum educational qualification that needs to be maintained by the applicants at the time of getting an online registration for this scheme. The applicants will need to make sure that his or her minimum education qualification should not less than class 8th. If it is so, the applicant will get terminated.
Repayment Tenure
It doesn’t mean if the government is awarding loan amounts to the youths of West Bengal on the basis of the scheme then there will be no return time period in which the applicant will need to return the loan amount being borrowed by them. The applicants will need to return the amount of the loan with the rate of interest charged on it within the time period of 3 years.
