The Chief Minister of Tripura has launched the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana which will assist or fund an amount of Rs. 5,000/- to each student so that they will be able to carry out online studies after purchasing Android or smartphones. Students will also need to submit the invoice to the portal after purchasing.

The students will be given an amount of Rs. 5,000/- in the form of financial assistance that can be used by them at the time of purchasing phones. 

Beneficiary Category 

The students will need to make sure that he or she has attained or possessed the beneficiary category based on this scheme will start providing the funds to the students. This scheme can be undertaken by students belonging to the APL or BPL categories who want to undertake online studies. 

Ineligible Beneficiaries

• Students living outside Tripura
• Students holding another category
• Students pursuing UG degree
