With a Rs 7,202 crore investment, the Odisha State Government launched the Odisha LAccMI Scheme. Its main objective is to enhance the transportation network both within and between districts and blocks. In the future, the program hopes to be merged with intercity bus operations. It will be operational for at least ten months of receiving an initial allocation of Rs 100 crore.

With the Odisha LAccMI Scheme in place, the government can now enhance connectivity in the nation at the block and district levels. Phase one of the project will begin on October 2 and be implemented in three districts initially. Every panchayat will receive a project report from Odisha State Road Transport Corporation by January 2024, and these will be available to all regions.
