This scheme primarily targets micro food processing enterprises, which are defined as units with a maximum investment of Rs. 10 lakh in machinery and equipment. • The enterprise should have a valid Udyog Aadhaar Number (UAN) or an Entrepreneur Memorandum (EM) Part-II.

• The enterprise should not be availing any other similar government scheme or subsidy for the same purpose.
• The enterprise should have a bank account and necessary infrastructure to carry out food processing activities.
