Premium payments for insurance will be covered under the Telangana Nethanna Bima Scheme. The nominee or family will receive compensation of up to five lakh rupees if the insured person passes away due to an illness or accident while the insurance is in effect. Normally, the nominee receives this money gradually, but in this case, the entire amount will be sent to them within ten days of the beneficiary’s passing.

The recipients of the Telangana Nethanna Bima Scheme applications will receive a life insurance payout of Rs. 5 lakh. Only those who have applied for this scheme will receive this amount, and in the event of their death, they will receive the insurance amount.

This will ensure that the policyholder’s loved ones receive a substantial sum of money to cope with financial challenges. 

Beneficiary Category 

It is only based on the beneficiary category that the applicants or residents will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. For this, they will need to attain the beneficiary category. This scheme will apply to the residents of Telangana state who are weavers working in handloom activities. 

Age Limit 

The age limit that will be applicable is as follows:- 

• Minimum Age Limit:- 18 Years 
• Maximum Age Limit:- 59 Years 

Beneficiary Limitation 

It is only based on the beneficiary target or limitation that the selection body will start shortlisting the names of eligible beneficiaries who will be able to receive the insurance plan this year. There are around 80,000 weavers who will be able to get or receive insurance plans for providing social security to their family members after death.

The amount of incentive that will be provided to the applicant has already been fixed in advance so that the applicants will be able to get the amount on time.
