The Department of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises has launched the UYEGP Scheme so that the applicants or residents of Tamilnadu state will be able to apply online for this scheme in order to get loan facility provided to them by which they will be able to start their own business in the various fields of manufacturing, service, and business. One can apply online before the last date for securing timely registration.

UYEGP Scheme

Now the applicants or unemployed youths will be able to carry out self-employment opportunities after getting an online registration offered under the UYEGP Scheme. With the help of this scheme, the applicants will be able to avail of the loan facilities being offered to them. The applicants will not need to migrate from rural to urban areas. Educated applicants will be able to create or generate jobs for themselves.

With the active participation of the Government of Tamil Nadu, and the Department of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, UYEGP Scheme has been launched so that employment opportunities will get created among the residents of Tamilnadu living in rural areas. 25% subsidies will be provided to them at the time of undertaking the loan.

Objectives Of UYEGP Scheme

The major objective of launching the UYEGP Scheme is to provide employment opportunities among the residents of Tamilnadu living in rural areas by which they will not need to migrate from rural areas to urban areas for the search of jobs or employment. This scheme will focus on providing socio-economic welfare to the applicants.

Another objective of launching the UYEGP Scheme is to provide loan amounts on subsidies so that the unemployed educated residents of Tamilnadu will be able to start up their own businesses or enterprises with the help of borrowed loan amounts. This will also bring a good contribution to the betterment of poor residents in rural areas.

Beneficiary Category

The applicants will need to attain the beneficiary category on the basis of which the applicants will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. This scheme can be availed by the residents of Tamilnadu only who are living in the Rural areas and are still unemployed and searching for jobs.

Age Limit

The age limit applicable for the applicants are as follows:-

Annual Income Limit

The annual income limit of the family will also be taken into consideration at the time of shortlisting the names of eligible beneficiaries for awarding the loan amount to the borrowers. The annual income limit of the applicant’s family must be Rs. 1,50,000/- and if it is not so then the applicant will get terminated.

Minimum Education Qualification

It doesn’t mean if the selection body has kept the beneficiary category and age limit as a selection parameter then the applicants will get selection. It is also mandatory for the applicants to possess the minimum education qualification set up or fixed by the selection body. The applicant will need to make sure that he or she must have passed at least the 8th class.

Facilitation Of Loan

With the help of this scheme, the government will be able to provide employment opportunities to the residents of TN state living in the rural areas because the applicants will be given access to borrow loans for their business start-up or creation of employment opportunities. Variable loan amounts can be borrowed by the applicants.

Facilitation Of EDP Training

It doesn’t mean that if this scheme is focusing on providing or lending loans to the applicants of Tamilnadu state then the form of benefit of this scheme will not be limited to this sphere but the government or delegated department will also provide Entrepreneur Development Programme (EDP) Training for the duration of 1 week or 7 days.

Features Of UYEGP Scheme

The features of this scheme are as follows:-

The Department of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises has launched the UYEGP Scheme.

UYEGP Scheme Eligibility Criteria

The applicants will need to follow the below-mentioned points to apply online for this scheme:-

The applicant must be a resident of Tamilnadu State.
He or she must belong to the special as well as general category.
The age limit must be 18 to 35 years for general and 18 to 45 years for special categories.
The annual income limit must be Rs. 1.50 lakhs.
He or she must be residing in the TN state for the last 3 years.

Important Documents

Transfer certificate/ Record Sheet issued by School/College (Two Copies)
Ration Card (Two Copies)
In case of applicants who don’t possess valid Ration Card, a Nativity certificate from the Tahsildar/photocopy of an Aadhaar card/photocopy of an Election Voter’s ID card (Two Copies)
Project Report (Original & Duplicate)
Valid Quotations (Original & Duplicate) with GST number
Community Certificate (Two Copies)
Ex-Serviceman /Differently abled /Transgenders should apply with a valid certificate (Two copies)
An Affidavit in the prescribed format which should be typed on a Rs.20/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper, duly certified and signed by the Notary Public and then submitted along with a copy of Rental/Lease Agreement to the bank while sanctioning the loan.
