Thanks to the Assam Amrit Brikshya Andolan, the government can now encourage citizens to plant saplings, growing the state’s green cover. The sapling planting window is September 17, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. They will receive a financial opportunity of Rs. 100/-for the plantation.

Following the planting of thousands of saplings, the Chief Minister of Assam initiated the Assam Amrit Brikshya Andolan to educate the state’s citizens about the value of green space. Each plantation will receive an amount of Rs. 100. They will only receive this help if they have transferred a selfie following the planting of saplings.
