Promotion Of Use of Renewable Energy

This portal will focus on promoting the use of renewable energy in the state which will help the government to reduce the dependence of users on conventional sources of energy and will also mitigate the adverse effects of climate change that have been caused due to burning fossil fuels. By using solar panels, residents can tap into the renewable energy source provided by the sun and contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment.

Reduction Of Electricity Bills

The use of solar panels can considerably reduce the electricity bills of residents. With the rise of energy prices, it makes economic sense to produce energy from the sun as it is a free and abundant source of energy. Solar panels can offset a significant portion of electricity usage and offer long-term savings. It can serve as a long-term investment where the applicant has to invest their money only in one time.

Enhancing Energy Security

Solar panels offer energy independence and security for consumers. Since the sun is an infinite source of energy, residents can rely on solar panels for uninterrupted power supply even during power outages. Solar panels are also useful in remote areas where access to electricity is limited so in short words we can say that with the help of solar panels energy security can be enhanced.

Creating Job Opportunities

The promotion of solar energy in Goa has created several job opportunities in the solar industry. Installation and maintenance of solar panels require skilled manpower, leading to the creation of job opportunities in the state.
