One can start planting their saplings on 17th September 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. For plantation, they will be given a financial incentive of Rs. 100/-.
The Chief Minister of Assam has launched the Assam Amrit Brikshya Andolan so that the residents of Assam will be able to know or understand the importance of green cover in their state after planting thousands of saplings. For each plantation, they will be given Rs. 100/-. This assistance will only be given if they have posted a selfie after planting saplings.

The major objective of launching the Assam Amrit Brikshya Andolan is to plant 10 million seedlings in Assam state. Financial aid will be provided to the people through direct benefit transfer.
