The major objective of launching the Telangana Chenetha Maggam Scheme is to upgrade and boost the technological equipment of the handloom weavers to a new and updated one via the help of this scheme. The handloom weavers will be able to access various technological equipment for their work. The government has also increased the retirement age of these weavers.
